We Love Sounds

Seeing the 'We Love Sounds' Festival is just around the corner i thought i would filter through the line up for you guys to give you the heads up on who to see this year.

Armand Van Helden- This gangster mo fo is coming straight out of boston in the U.S and he has a little but of a limp in step if you know what i mean.

Laidback Luke- Im not really a big fan of old Luke but he has done a few remixes and bootlegs that have caught my attention, This being one of them! You cant beat the classics.

Kissy Sell Out- This guy is something amazing, he has done a freakish amount of production work and still manages to nail it every time he steps on to the stage. He was out here for field day last year and i was really impressed.

Bobmo- Bobmo is a young french producer and one half of The High Powered Boys'. He is on Insitiubes Label and just seems like a really cool dude(no really!).

Headman- This guy has been around for a while and has done remixes for the likes of Mylo, Franz Ferdinand and the Scissor Sisters just to name a few. He  was one of the leading pioneers in the new disco movement way back wen. One of my favorite acts in this line up by far!

Guns N Bombs- Some really really hard music! But really well done. These guys just got a release on French label Kitsune and will be one of the more anticipated acts of 09.

Danger- French Producer Danger is no stranger to Mine is Yours. I have seen this guy live when he was out in Australia a few years back, It was loud and very dark music. I will say this though,he has done very well with a few of his remixes and he is very unique. Worth seeing indefinitely

Dave Nada-This guy is coming straight outa Baltimore and he is bring you just that, Really cool, Fun music with a little bit of gangster thrown in there.

Bang Gang- The Bang Gang boys are the best thing to ever come out of the Australian club music scene and have had long standing ties with the We Love Sounds Festival for years.Although they are all off doing separate solo projects these guys always manage to bring it every year and put on a crazy show.

Bagraiders-I feel a little stupid doing a write up about these guys because we all know who they are and what they have accomplished. But for those of you who have been living under a rock for the last 3 years here goes. They have basically remixed anyone who is anyone including Sneaky Sound System,Headman,ZZZ,Muscles and the lost valentinos just to name a few. Singed to Bang Gang 12's who are releasing there originals with remixes from some of the best, Oh and there work is being picked up on regular by fools gold(A-traks Label). I definitely didn't cover everything because there just isn't enough space but that should give you a rough idea of where they are at.They put together a live show that showcases all there musical work to date, fun fun fun!

Shazam-This young guy is from Perth and has in the past year sky rocketed up the musical food chain with remixes for Empire Of The Sun,Munk and a ep put out by Bang Bang 12's. This is his first performance at a major festival so dont miss out.
