Q1.Headman,you have been hailed one of the leading pioneers of the new disco movement from way back when, how after soon many years do you still continue to make music that the kids love litening to?
Im new new disco now then?
i just always try to do what i like and hopefully the kids still love what i do.
Q2.Describe your sound in 3 words?
funk , electronica ,disco.
Q3.How different do you find the music sceane today as opposed to when you first got into producing music?
Its kinda moving in circles a bit. when i started producing it was very different.
the kind of sound me and some people where doing was not really around.
we where doing something loads of people where not really understanding.
after a while that whole sound kind of exploded and became huge.
i just keep on doing what i always did but at the same time try to develope and evolve.

Bang Gang crew, Cut Copy, Midnight Juggernauts, Sam Littlemore, Shazam and Riot in Belgium when they still existed.
Q7.You have been brought over to Australia for the 'We Love Sounds' festival, how do you find the Australian club and festival sceane as opposed to back home?
I really like playing in Australia. the crowds are sometimes a bit younger as back home but always great fun.
Q9.You have just finished off some incredible remixes recently with Pool party and High pressure days, what other stuff are you working on at the moment?
I am working on my new album and i just did a remix of my favorite mancunian bands of recent times the Doves.I also did a remix for another new band that i find great called the invisible called 'ok'.Also just did a Tiga 'Beep Beeo Beeo'remix and now i have to finish my album.All comming out on Relish my label. There will be a new relish compilation as well coming soon, Featuring some relish classics and brand new material from the likes of David Gilmour Girls and The C90s.
Q10.Are there any new artists you are keen to do some work with?
I think there is loads of nice new music around. There are already some new artist working on remixes for the next headman single feat, Dieter Meier from Yello.
Q11.Where do you see your music taking you in 5 years, any goals you wish to reach that you haven't already accomplished?
Well one goal is that i manged to work with loads of musical heros of mine.I did a track with a certain ratio(factory records)(for those who dont know,
as it seems loads of people do not: they where with joy division the biggest act on factory) i also remixed many of my favorite bands including roxy music.
and now i did a song with dieter meier from Yello, witch is my favorite swiss band ever.Hopefully i still will be doing music and art and design.
